Before I became the Herald, I was an inventor for the marriage between technology and magic. The books I read were either mechanical, or theoretical concerning arcane concepts.
But now I enjoy reading philosophy and ethics. The nature of man, how to overcome the failures of humanity.

Can't say I've read any of that myself, although I've heard of them. I leaned more into business and finance articles, but as I'm sure you can imagine, those aren't exactly fun or interesting things to read about.
Hn. Something that is still tied to reality. It doesn't have to be nonfiction, but I have a difficult time wrapping my head around fantastical concepts.

Yes. Inventing was my passion. I enjoyed it for a long time until... I found out I was terminally ill. Then my passion became my desperation. Finding a way to keep the disease at bay.

This is where those with damage souls go to heal. Mine was likely damaged when Jayce killed me, and the arcane within me tried what it could to preserve me.
I do not harbor any anger toward Jayce. I only wish I could understand and, hopefully, convince him of how beneficial this version of our dream is.

I spent most of my time working before I came here. Didn't have many opportunities for leisure activities.
